As a Part Time Helper, you will assist with general cleaning, maintenance, and operational duties to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and well-organized. Responsibilities
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Use hand tools and pressure washing equipment to clean outdoor surfaces, walls, and equipment efficiently.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects safely and assisting with duct cleaning or floor buffing as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses during all tasks.
- Support with outdoor work activities including pressure washing, outdoor cleaning, and general site maintenance.
- Help with the use of fire extinguishers during safety drills or emergencies to ensure readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to industrial cleaning standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to use ladders safely for reaching high areas during cleaning or maintenance tasks.
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and hand tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including proper use of PPE and manual handling techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and assisting others.
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions for safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
