Client Service Representative (CSR) – Full Time
Coats Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and customer-focused Client Service Representative to join our team. Our CSRs are the first point of contact for our clients and patients and play a vital role in creating a positive experience while supporting the medical team in providing exceptional patient care.We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people and their pets, communicates effectively, and can confidently multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
- Confirm charges and process payments
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, services, and follow-up care
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, kennel staff, and groomers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn veterinary software systems
- Veterinary experience is preferred but not required
- Previous customer service, reception, or healthcare experience is a plus
Schedule Requirements
- Full-time position
- Must be available to work Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM on a rotating basis (our hospital is open every Saturday except the first Saturday of each month)
- Additional weekday hours will be scheduled to complete a full-time work week
