Looking for a meaningful overnight position?
Inspire Home and Health is seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide overnight support for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
This position primarily involves ensuring the participant's safety and well-being throughout the night. In most cases, the individual will be sleeping during the majority of the shift, making this a lower-intensity position than many traditional caregiving roles. However, staff must remain awake, alert, attentive, and prepared to respond if support is needed.
Schedule
- Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Coverage needed 7 days per week
- Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
- Consistent schedule available
- Additional hours may be available
Why This Position Is Important
This is a 24/7 care environment. Reliability and punctuality are absolutely essential.
The staff member finishing their shift is depending on you to arrive on time. The participant is depending on you to ensure their safety throughout the night. Because of this, consistent attendance and dependability are among the most important qualifications for this role.
If you frequently call off, arrive late, or struggle with overnight work, this position will not be a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight supervision and support.
- Ensure participant health, safety, and well-being throughout the shift.
- Remain awake and attentive for the duration of the shift.
- Monitor the home environment and address safety concerns.
- Assist with personal care if needed.
- Complete required documentation and shift notes.
- Communicate important information to supervisors and team members.
- Support participant independence while maintaining a safe environment.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass all required background checks.
- Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Professional communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
- Experience as a DSP, CNA, Home Health Aide, Behavioral Health Technician, Residential Counselor, or similar role.
- Experience supporting individuals with autism or behavioral health needs.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
