Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EXPERIENCED Roll Off Truck and or Front Load Dumpster Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks and or front load dumpster trucks designed for efficient waste removal, construction debris hauling, and large-scale material delivery. Your expertise in heavy-duty truck operation, mechanical knowledge, and safe driving practices will ensure timely and secure transport of materials.
Duties
- Safely operate standard transmission roll-off and or front load dumpster truck ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload materials efficiently using manual lifting techniques and mechanical equipment such as front loaders or hydraulic systems
- Attach and detach roll-off containers securely to the truck chassis for transport
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues and ensure optimal functioning before each shift
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch to plan routes that maximize efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating standard transmission roll off truck and or front load dumpster truck in a commercial driving capacity
- Valid CLASS A commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and hydraulic equipment used in roll-off containers
- Demonstrated ability to load & unload materials safely using manual methods or mechanical loaders like front loaders or dump trucks
- Experience with heavy lifting tasks and operating equipment such as front loader trucks or other material handling machinery
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks confidently
