American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience in a Level I trauma center for a 13-week travel contract in an inpatient setting.

Acute care inpatient setting at a Level I trauma center

Primary patient population includes medical/surgical and orthopedic patients

Day shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday with possible weekend coverage; a weekday relief day is provided when a weekend shift is worked

No on-call or holiday requirements

Uses EpicCare Inpatient Therapist (PT/OT/ST) module

Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable

Previous acute care experience in a Level I trauma center is required

Experience treating medical/surgical and orthopedic patients required

Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of acute care patients across medical/surgical and orthopedic units
