We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Certified (Automotive Service Excellence) professional with expertise in structural and frame repair to join our dynamic body shop team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive structural and frame repairs using automotive welding equipment, MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize sheet metal working skills for auto restoration, dent repair, auto body refinishing, and cosmetic repairs to achieve flawless finishes.
- Conduct auto parts installation, assembly, sanding, and detailing to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
- Operate power tools, airless paint sprayers, sanding tools, and other hand tools efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
- Apply automotive welding repair methods for collision damage or rust repair projects, ensuring structural integrity.
- Assist with auto painting and automotive cosmetic repairs to enhance vehicle appearance.
- Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- ASE Certification in Structural and Frame Repair is required; additional certifications in welding or auto body repair are a plus.
- Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or independent shop environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair techniques including sheet metal fabrication and welding repair.
- Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, automotive welding equipment, and fabrication repair techniques.
- Familiarity with auto restoration processes, auto painting, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to accurately perform auto estimating tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $52,200.09 - $70,000.00 per year
