Job Overview
Blendex Company, a family-owned food manufacturer with a 47-year history of excellence, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will perform advanced maintenance and preventative maintenance of the company’s production equipment, conveying equipment, forklifts, electrical systems, HVAC, buildings, and grounds. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead maintenance activities to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced building and grounds maintenance, plant equipment maintenance, and monthly preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues quickly to return production to normal levels, minimizing downtime.
- Lead maintenance projects, major repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing and improving preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
- Conduct work in a safe manner which pays close attention to Blendex Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 5+ years’ of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced troubleshooting of electrical, HVAC, and industrial equipment systems
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including hands-on repair and diagnostics
- Welding and fabrication skills
- PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, framing, and general facility maintenance
- Strong organizational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Skilled in maintaining and improving maintenance systems and facilities
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language

Pay: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour
