Pay: $28.31+6.20 (fringe benefits towards health insurance or 401k) = $34.51 an hour
Permanent fulltime position working for a Postal Contractor in Albany, NY.
The current open position is Monday-Saturday going from Albany to Troy, NY.
The hours are:
Mon to Sat AM 2:20 to 7:20..........5 hours
Sat PM 6:00 to 9:00.......3 hours
Total weekly hours = 33 hours
We deliver bulk mail, mostly in wheeled containers, from Albany to Troy on a regular route schedule (NO HOME DELIVERY).
Class D and box truck driving experience is helpful. Must be able to pass USPS security screening, have a clean MVR (some violations OK) and pass pre‐ employment drug screening (including Marijuana). Must be able to lift to 70 pounds (not that often). Must have a DOT physical card or be able to obtain one.
Great for a retired person looking to supplement pension or Social Security. Paid training, 401K, 11 paid holidays (if you normally work that day), 2 weeks’ vacation after one year, AFLAC and medical / dental available.
