Looking for mechanically inclined technician to join the largest family run Overhead Door company in Connecticut. Get immediate training and a company truck. We guarantee all our technicians at least 40 hours a week plus optional overtime (Monday - Friday) and are looking for people who want a career not a job. This is a full-time position with health benefits and paid time off available after 90 days.
Responsibilities will include installation of new garage doors and operators, reframing openings, diagnosing and trouble shooting on-site issues, and interacting with customers. Along with rebuilding jambs, framing, and light carpentry work. We will cross train candidates to assist our service and commercial department (no experience needed).
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic & attendance record
- Mechanically inclined with tools
- OSHA 10 Certified (we will pay for the course)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Background in carpentry or mechanical
- Ablility to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid drivers license
