We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and chop ingredients according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in meal and Special Events preparation and cooking as directed by the culinary manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to support catering events and special menu planning.
- Utilize various kitchen tools, including knives and other culinary equipment, with care and precision.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Experience
- Four years experience, in catering or a restaurant is required.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are essential.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills in the food industry.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining individual responsibilities.
