Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices, including electrical systems, hydraulics, and the use of various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using tools such as voltmeters.
- Fabricate parts as needed to repair or enhance equipment functionality.
- Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively.
- Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
