Company Description
Bigfork Valley is seeking a Part-Time and Casual Perioperative RN to provide nursing care to patients in Surgical Services.
Provides care to patients in surgical setting including direct patient care, education for patients and families, administering medications and treatments. Performs assessments and aids physician during surgery. Monitors vital signs and keeps physician apprised of patient’s condition and reactions to treatment. Performs documentation. Includes practice in the surgical suite and endoscopy room, and pre- and post-care and recovery of patient.
Requires a minimum of an associate's (AA) or associate of science (AS) degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Current Minnesota Registered Nursing License; BLS, and ACLS certifications as required by the nursing department. Certified Nurse Operating Room Certification (CNOR) preferred.
