This physician will provide comprehensive neurological care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes, research, education, and innovation.

About the Opportunity:
Outpatient Neurologist role
Team Makeup – 9 Providers, 3 APNs
Schedule – Mon-Fri with 2 days of on call coverage every other week and 1 weekend a month

What your day will look like
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient neurological care.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and neuromuscular systems.
Interpret diagnostic studies, including EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging results.
Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, critical care, emergency medicine, and other specialty teams.
Participate in hospital quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical pathway development.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR - EPIC).
Qualifications:
MD (or DO) degree from an accredited institution
Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program
Fellowship training in one or more of the following: (optional but preferred depending on subspecialty)
Stroke
Vascular Neurology
Epilepsy
Neurophysiology
Movement Disorders
Multiple Sclerosis
Neuromuscular Medicine
Headache Medicine
Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology
Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
DEA & NJ CDS registration
AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
Experience in a community‑based or hospital‑based neurology practice preferred
