Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the entire kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen employees
- Develop and maintain menus that are innovative, diverse, and appealing to our guests
- Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of all food items
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of food supplies
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong background in banquet or large-scale event catering
- Excellent kitchen management skills, including inventory control and cost management
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a culinary field
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in shift management and scheduling
- In-depth knowledge of food industry trends and best practices
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
