As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of waste properly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively upsell to customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a related food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per local regulations regarding alcohol service.
