Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Prior experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and meal preparation processes is advantageous
