Key Responsibilities
Setup and Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC turning machines.
- Tooling Selection: Select, align, and install cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools like micrometer, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure compliance with tolerances.
- Machine Monitoring: Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions, adjust speeds, and change tool settings to ensure efficient production.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience as a machinist
- Programming Knowledge: Fusion 360 experience a plus, will train right individual
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metal properties, machining processes (turning, drilling, threading), and CNC programming.
- Tools: Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical school degree is preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
