We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience with Resy reservation systems is a plus.
- Thai Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed in a restaurant setting.
