Responsibilities
- Open and close the store independently, including setting alarms and securing the building
- Create a welcoming experience for every guest and assist with questions or larger orders
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment — sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing throughout your shift
- Rotate meals between refrigerators and freezers and monitor temperatures to ensure product quality
- Take inventory and send store updates and photos to management
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory counts
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in stocking and merchandising
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership opportunities
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.50–$24.00. This represents the good-faith range Healthy Meals Direct believes to be accurate at the time of this posting.
