Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall patient condition to identify changes requiring immediate attention.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation, including medical records and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and provide education.
- Utilize strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand patient conditions and support appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA privacy standards and medical terminology accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and maintaining detailed medical records.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Additional Requirements:
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
12 hour shifts- FT, PT, PRN 7pm-7am over night shift availability.
