Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, in-person customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems and process cash transactions efficiently
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, dining areas, and service stations regularly, following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Support food handling activities while adhering to strict food safety management practices
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with basic food preparation when required
- Handle weight-based tasks such as portioning ingredients or serving sizes accurately
- Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all duties, including cleaning utensils and workspaces
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues during busy service periods
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly desirable, but not necessary.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety sanitizing protocols
- Experience operating POS systems for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Basic math skills for managing bills, change, and inventory counts
- Experience working in the food industry environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
