WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE NEXT GM
This opportunity is designed for two types of automotive leaders:
- A top-performing Sales Manager, New Car Manager, or Used Car Manager who has proven they can lead people, desk deals, drive volume, protect gross, and produce results — and is ready to graduate to General Sales Manager.
- A current or recently promoted General Sales Manager who has the talent and ambition to eventually take the next step into a General Manager role.
The selected candidate will work directly with Lakeland Hyundai's dealership leadership and be developed with one goal in mind:
Prepare you to eventually run the dealership.
This isn't about hiring someone who has already reached the top.
We're looking for the person who's hungry enough and talented enough to earn their way there.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Proven automotive sales management experience
- Strong new and pre-owned vehicle experience
- Excellent desking and deal-structuring skills
- Track record of increasing volume, gross, and profitability
- Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain salespeople
- Strong leadership and accountability skills
- High-volume dealership experience preferred
- Import franchise experience is a plus
- Desire to learn every aspect of dealership operations
- Strong ambition to advance into senior dealership leadership
- Ultimate career goal of becoming a General Manager
