Overview
Here's your chance to work for a great office with amazing patients! We are looking for a part time hygienist (1-2 days per week) who enjoys a laid back atmosphere and loves to build relationships with their patients. NO late nights or weekends, we are open Monday-Thursday from 8-5. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we would love to talk to you!
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings for patients of all ages.
- Take dental radiographs, ensuring accurate positioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct vital signs assessments and medical history reviews to support thorough patient evaluations.
- Manage electronic health records in Dentrix, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and medical records.
- Maintain strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to uphold healthcare infection control standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dental terminology, and post-treatment care to foster ongoing oral health awareness.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of dental equipment operation, medical imaging techniques, and X-ray safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation review and coding.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare infection prevention practices is required to ensure safe and effective patient care.
