Duties
- Prepare metal parts by cleaning, sanding, and pre-treating surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and airless paint spraying equipment safely and efficiently
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface conditions before coating
- Handle materials using forklifts, cranes, or other warehouse equipment to move parts within the department
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with fabrication and assembly tasks to support production flow when required
- You will be working in a non air conditioned area
Qualifications
- Previous experience with industrial or construction painting, auto painting, or auto body repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrication processes is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to prepping and coating processes
- Warehouse experience or background in manufacturing environments preferred
