Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software and technical drawings. Your expertise will drive project success from planning through execution, fostering collaboration among teams, and partnering GC's.
Duties
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate construction schedules using to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards.
- Assist in managing contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining detailed documentation for all project transactions.
- Lead teams by managing crews, providing guidance on project scope, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate construction schedules, resolve issues promptly, and ensure smooth workflow across all phases of the project.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy; interpret technical schematics; perform construction estimating; oversee budgeting processes.
- Ensure projects meet all quality control standards by inspecting work progress and verifying adherence to blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a focus on fireproofing.
- Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations such as OSHA standards and federal safety requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Hands-on experience supervising teams in a construction management role; excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling techniques; experience coordinating schedules across multiple trades.
- Familiarity with managing pipelines of work within large-scale projects; experience with managing project scope changes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills in troubleshooting issues on-site.
