DN Plastics is looking for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and controls expertise to support our plastic compounding operation. This role goes beyond routine repairs — you'll troubleshoot machine controls, diagnose electrical faults, and help drive continuous process improvements that keep our equipment running at peak reliability.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair machine controls, electrical circuits, and automation systems on compounding and production equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues across PLCs, control panels, sensors, motors, drives, and related electrical systems
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to reduce downtime and improve process reliability in the compounding operation
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation
- Maintain accurate maintenance and troubleshooting logs
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Collaborate with production staff and maintenance leadership to plan maintenance around production schedules
- Assist with parts inventory, identifying and requesting electrical/controls components as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
