Lead Cabinet Maker / Production Lead
We are looking for an experienced Lead Cabinet Maker who is more than just a skilled craftsman. This is a leadership role for someone who can think several steps ahead, organize production, and keep multiple projects moving efficiently.
Our shop produces high-quality commercial cabinetry, with a significant amount of work for schools where summer schedules are extremely compressed. Success in this role requires strong planning and organizational skills to ensure materials, manpower, and shop production stay ahead of the installation schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day cabinet shop production.
- Review upcoming projects and develop production schedules.
- Plan work weeks in advance to prevent bottlenecks and missed deadlines.
- Coordinate material needs and communicate shortages before they become problems.
- Assign work to shop personnel and monitor progress.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and efficient production.
- Work closely with project managers and field crews to meet installation schedules.
- Identify potential issues early and develop solutions before they impact the project.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of cabinet making experience.
- Proven experience leading a cabinet shop or production team preferred.
- Strong ability to read shop drawings and architectural plans.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and plans ahead rather than simply reacting to problems.
- Commercial millwork experience is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
