Laskey Costello is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our public accounting team in Lakewood, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys delivering high-quality client service, preparing a broad range of tax returns, and contributing to a collaborative, family-oriented firm. Working closely with firm leadership, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and other key client service responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Federal, state, and local tax return preparation for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and corporations
- Review returns to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conduct research and document findings to support client’s position
- Provide timely, high-quality client service that exceeds client expectations
- Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise; identify performance improvement opportunities
- Develop others through mentoring, training, and advising career development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- 4-7 years’ experience in tax preparation or related field
- CPA/EA (Preferred)
- Experience with UltraTax/Accountants World/QuickBooks/TaxDome a plus
