Summary
We are searching for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting clerical/Admin support member. This role is essential to our accounting department's operations, and the dealership’s day-to-day administrative responsibilities.

Applicants should have experience in a dealership environment and be able to provide references. The function of this position is primarily accounting data entry and document control, some reconciliations, stocking in inventory and keeping accurate financial records using CDK. You will also have administrative tasks, need to work on DMV paperwork, and communicate effectively. You will also asked to be a flexible team member who can help when extra hands are needed. Cross training expected amongst the team. Compensation will be provided based on level of experience.
Responsibilities
- Process accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Efficiency in stocking vehicles and submitting finance contracts for deals
- Assist in vehicle registration process, securing titles and dealer trades
- Collaborate with team members to enhance financial reporting practices.
- Assist other team members as needed in various support tasks including but not limited to covering reception, distribution of employment information, contacting vendors, cashiering customers
Requirements
- Excellent communication and team-working ability
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience in CDK DMS system a plus, but not required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Experience with monthly reconciliations and journal entries a plus
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions for audits.
