The School District is seeking a dedicated Building Substitute Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and classroom support across various grade levels in the absence of regular classroom teachers. This full-time, school-year position is assigned to a specific building, with opportunities to support other district buildings as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction using existing lesson plans to ensure continuity of learning

Maintain a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment

Supervise students throughout the school day and during school activities

Adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom settings

Uphold district policies, professionalism, and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required
-
Valid PA teaching certificate, out-of-state certificate, or eligibility for a Pennsylvania day-to-day substitute emergency permit

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Reliable, flexible, and committed to student success

Must successfully complete required background clearances
