Job Description:
We’re seeking compassionate and skilled RN or LPN nurses to provide private duty in-home care for a pediatric client with tracheostomy, G-tube, and ventilator needs. You’ll deliver one-on-one, family-centered care that makes a life-changing impact.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home to a ventilator-dependent child
- Perform trach care and suctioning, monitor the airway, and manage respiratory equipment
- Administer G-tube feedings and medications as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Assist with daily activities (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation
- Educate and support family members in care routines and emergency protocols
- Follow physician orders and collaborate with the clinical care team
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Illinois
- BLS (CPR) certification required; PALS preferred
- Experience with tracheostomy, G-tube, and ventilator care is strongly preferred
- Pediatric home health experience a plus
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently
