SUMMARY
SPIRITT Family Services is recruiting a Temp Wraparound Clinician for 6 to 12 months. Wraparound Clinician conducts assessments and develops client and family driven service/treatment plans, provides integrated mental health, substance abuse, child abuse prevention and treatment services, and coordinates services with other providers.
Wraparound is an integrated, community-based, intensive services program intended for children and youth who are experiencing serious emotional and behavioral problems. Service delivery objectives may include assisting children and youth in successfully remaining or returning home after an out-of-home placement; preventing out-of-home replacements; preventing disruption of placements in homes of relatives, foster-care, or adoptive parents; preventing psychiatric hospitalizations; reducing symptoms; and improving family’s overall capacity to support children and youth in achieving these objectives. Clinicians provide treatment through individual, group and family therapy both on site and in the community (including schools, homes and other facilities where available and assigned). In addition, the Wraparound Clinician is responsible for researching and providing resource/linkage and referral follow-up to clients and collaborating with clinicians and/or other advocates, interagency and externally, to better assist clients with maximum support.
Responsibilities:

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments based on meeting medical necessity, and DSM V criteria, and develop client and family driven treatment plans

Provide mental health treatment using group, individual, collateral, family, crisis intervention, and case management modalities

Essential that the Clinician maintain accuracy and consistency in timekeeping, weekly case notes, external reports/letters, client files and all other required documentation

Submit progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery per agency policy

Attend staff clinical supervision to establish and coordinate consumer and/or family treatment goals

Maintain specified level of productivity (caseload) and quality of services.

Wraparound experience preferred

Flexible work hours including after hours and weekends in response to client needs
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology and registered (ASW or IMFT) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or licensed (LCSW/LMFT) by the BBS

Two years of experience providing substance use and mental health treatment in low-income and culturally diverse communities

Trained in evidence-based practices including Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other related topics, must complete required trainings within 6 months of hire

Position requires after hours, evening and weekend hours availability

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Maintain First Aid/CPR Certification

Complete a fingerprint check for criminal history and obtain clearance from a law enforcement agency to work in a human services agency

Current and valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance

Driving record meets agency requirements

Clean Tuberculosis test
Skill Requirements:

Possess adequate coursework and knowledge of legal and ethical issues regarding child and family counseling and other emotional, social and behavioral health concerns

Ability to provide integrated services for children, adults and families
-
Ability to provide services to various ethnic/cultural groups in the community

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families.

Organized and able to meet documentation deadlines as required by funding contracts.

Able to manage change and work in a fast paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills including self-awareness, conflict resolution, open to feedback and supervision, and able to take personal responsibility for job performance.

Able to promote a positive work environment and maintain professional boundaries.

Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record Systems.
