An established medical practice is seeking the addition to existing clinical staff. This private practice sees patients of all ages and would like to add an experienced medical assistant to the team. You will work in tandem with two existing medical assistants. Essential characteristics include a warm and friendly attitude; punctuality and dependability; and a polished, professional presence. Shifts are 10hrs/day (approx 7AM-5PM), 4 days/week.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Room patients
Obtain and chart history of present illness and past medical history
Scribe into EMR
Assist physician staff in outpatient procedures, to include minor surgeries
Complete and follow up on prior authorizations
Conduct patient call backs (re: clinical questions/clinical results)
Required Qualifications:
Two (2) years of clinical experience
Current BLS certification
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Timeliness, reliability
Warm, professional demeanor
Team player
Successful candidates may be required to pass a comprehensive civil, criminal, educational and/or credit background check prior to employment.
