Job Summary
First and Foremost this is for a closing shift! We have most the other shifts covered, you would do Friday and Saturday closes. I am very open and flexible, most of us work 4-10hrs but if you prefer 5-8's that is fine too. We do lots of parties too so their is OT sometimes. Please be willing to learn, as you are not just a closer but you will be responsible for some of the prep if the team didn't have time for it in the AM

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Execute food preparation tasks including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking techniques to deliver flavorful dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all tools are maintained and sanitized according to food safety procedures.
- Assist with menu planning and portion control to support high-volume production while maintaining quality.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment.
- Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal prep accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy weekend closing shifts, maintaining a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous food industry experience, including restaurant or catering roles, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in food preparation, knife handling, and operating commercial kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume production environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of dietary aide practices, menu planning, and food handling regulations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and meal preparation.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and recipe adherence.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
