SUMMARY
Reporting to Quality Control Lead and Quality Manager, this position is responsible for assuring the organization’s quality system activities are producing desired results and to assure manufactured products meet customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ø Provide technical and process support to engineering, manufacturing, sales and purchasing groups
Ø Inspect manufactured parts using designated inspection equipment
Ø Hands on interaction with manufacturing process control activities
Ø Assist in disposition of nonconforming product
Ø Other duties as assigned by Quality Control Lead or Quality Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Associates degree or equivalent experience
Ø Ability to interpret part drawings and tolerances
Ø Knowledge and use of various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Ø Some knowledge of ISO quality systems
Ø Some knowledge of SPC and calibration systems
Ø Knowledge of CMM, Optical comparator and vision inspection systems (Keyence)
Ø PC skills (MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, etc.)
