Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassion and a student-centered approach to care
- Comfortable collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students with varying abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy to meet students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to help students thrive
- Adapt therapy techniques to classroom and school routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning
- Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
