Job Overview
Jam Jam Tea & Moments is looking for reliable and motivated Supervisors to lead shifts and support daily store operations. As a Supervisor, you will oversee Crew Members during your shift, enforce company policies and operational procedures, and ensure the store runs smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with food service experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Duties
- Supervise Crew Members during assigned shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations consistently
- Oversee store maintenance including cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and facility presentation
- Ensure all operational procedures are followed, including opening/closing checklists, cash handling, and inventory processes
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate restocking, and minimize waste
- Serve as the on-shift point of contact for customer escalations and team questions
- Lead by example in customer service, beverage preparation, and store standards
- Communicate shift updates and concerns to the Store Manager
- Assist with training new Crew Members on standard operating procedures
Experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in food service, café, or retail environments
- Previous supervisory or shift lead experience preferred
- Food Handler’s Certification required (we provide this if not yet obtained)
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with POS systems and basic cash management
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends and flexible hours
