In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the Department’s sole discretion.
- Ability to communicate effectively to successfully achieve objectives and goals.
- Demonstrated strong self-direction and time management
- Works well under pressure when meeting short deadlines
- Must be able to effectively carry out assigned tasks with minimum supervision, be able to work independently or in a team environment
- Incumbent shall possess the general qualification, as described in California Code of Regulations Title 2, Section 172, which include, but are not limited to integrity, honesty, dependability, thoroughness, accuracy, good judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload.
- Positive attitude, open-mindedness, flexibility and tact.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in order to successfully achieve objectives.
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for the Analyst II (5393) and have certification (reachable) list eligibility, transfer eligibility, Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) eligibility, reinstatement rights and/or State Restriction of Appointments (SROA) (please include SROA letter (attach letter if applicable).
