We are seeking a Manufacturing Analyst/Line Support to join the US Smokeless Tobacco team in Richmond, VA. In this role, assist production departments in order to fulfill business unit objectives that are linked to factory/manufacturing goals and strategy through continuous process improvements.
What you will be doing:
Analyzes key measures and contributing factors to identify problems/validate root causes, communicate findings, and propose options/recommendations to business unit teams
Support Integrated Work Systems (IWS), Autonomous Maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Works directly with teams to standardize the scheduling, design, and execution of work processes and their ongoing monitoring/improvement
Evaluates, develops and improves processes to clearly connect and communicate schedule status, changes, and work flows to Natural Work Teams and business units
Translates changes in business unit/departmental processes to align supporting work processes and assure improved performance
Provides/performs required work process approval or authorization for critical processes within business units
Serves as team liaison to customers/suppliers within or of business units
Provides coaching on and development of problem solving/continuous improvement skills to enhance capability of Natural Work Team members
What we want you to have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical/business field.
Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment with familiarity in principles and concepts of Quality Systems/ISO/Lean
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully fulfill/execute multiple requests
Demonstrated proficiency in software and database applications to manage data and develop reporting tools and information
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple customers and varied needs
Understanding of Lean tools, thinking, and techniques with experience in problem solving techniques/statistical analysis
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment including standing, lifting, and working varied shifts or overtime as needed
Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $80,800.00 - $118,750.00.
