Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across multiple states, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Transport various freight types ensuring proper load securement and handling.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any incidents encountered during transit.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a minimum of 2 years valid CDL A license.
- Skilled in operating manual transmission and autmatic trucks and handling flatbed trailer.
Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
