Adcock Systems, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company, located in Lanham, MD is looking for a Fire Alarm Install Technician to join our team! The Fire Alarm Technician is primarily responsible for testing, inspecting and servicing fire alarm systems.

Hourly Rate: $55.00/hour - $63.00/hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Service and test fire alarm and life safety systems.

Perform scheduled or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems.

Inspect, adjust, clean and calibrate, ensuring systems are in excellent working order.

Complete within assigned hours in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving zero callbacks.

Work assignments are to be performed in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2+ years experience as licensed fire alarm technician - programming, installation experience preferred.

NICET certification

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines.

Must be flexible with working hours and be willing to be part of an on-call rotation.

Report to assigned job site location on time, as directed.
