Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safely towing vehicles and assisting customers in need. This role requires a generic mechanical knowledge, the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other types of towing vehicles, to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during roadside assistance.
- Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring that all equipment is secured properly.
- Maintain the tow truck in good working condition through regular inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
- Drive in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safety for yourself and others on the road.
- Assist with any necessary paperwork related to towing operations and vehicle releases.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Generic mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts may be beneficial.
- A valid driving license is required for this position.
- Previous customer service experience is highly desirable, as interaction with clients is a key aspect of the role.

Pay: $18.75 - $25.00 per hour
