Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively on various fencing projects. This role requires hands-on experience with power tools, heavy lifting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations. The Fence Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all fencing is installed accurately and meets customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install chain link fencing
- Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper alignment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as needed for fence installation
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting posts in concrete
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry, with a focus on fence installation preferred
- Familiarity with frame carpentry, concrete forming, and concrete finishing techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with masonry work is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and hardscape installation is beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $42.00 - $49.00 per hour
