What you’ll do
- Greet and seat guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings to enhance guest experience.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring timely service and satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests to ensure a smooth dining flow.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing excellent guest relations throughout the process.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of fine dining practices enhances your ability to serve guests effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
