Wage Range:
Medical Assistant (MA): $18.55-$22.63/hour
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): $18.72-$22.85/hour

Job Summary
The Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant participates in providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Provider. He/she can implement and evaluate patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to geriatrics. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the clinic’s standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKGs, urinalysis, and taking and recording patient vital signs.
Required Qualifications
- Current certificate/license (C.M.A.) OR completion of M.A. course
- Basic Life Support training.
- Interest in integrative, functional, and natural medicine
