We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and develop our warehouse, internal logistics, outbound delivery operations, and warehouse team as our business enters its next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage the day-to-day operation while also looking ahead — identifying efficiencies, improving systems, controlling costs, developing people, and creating the processes and structure needed to support a growing business.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead our supply chain operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing warehouse activities, managing transportation logistics, and driving process improvements to ensure efficient distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in warehouse supervision, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management systems to support our growth and operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory movement, picking, packing, staging, and outbound shipments.
- Manage internal logistics and the movement of merchandise between the warehouse, stores, customers, and other locations.
- Oversee outbound delivery operations, including scheduling, routing, delivery coordination, and the delivery team.
- Coordinate closely with our retail/store teams to ensure merchandise is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to maximize space, productivity, safety, and inventory accessibility.
- Develop and improve warehouse procedures, workflows, and standard operating processes.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions that improve productivity, accuracy, service, and cost control.
- Establish and monitor key warehouse and logistics performance metrics.
- Manage inventory accuracy and help develop stronger inventory control processes.
- Plan warehouse staffing levels and schedules based on business needs and seasonal demand.
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage warehouse and delivery team members.
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards for the team.
- Develop supervisors and team leaders as the organization grows.
- Manage warehouse and logistics operating budgets, labor costs, delivery expenses, equipment needs, and other operational expenses.
- Work with leadership to forecast future warehouse, staffing, vehicle, equipment, and space requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional working environment.
- Partner with company leadership to help build a scalable logistics operation capable of supporting continued business growth.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data using supply chain analytics tools for continuous process improvement.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while managing budgets and operational targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing warehouse employees and operational teams.
- Experience managing delivery, transportation, or outbound logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, receiving, fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse organization.
- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and improve operational processes.
- Experience managing labor and operating budgets.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company where processes continue to evolve.
- Ability to balance hands-on operational leadership with longer-term planning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse, retail, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
- Experience building or scaling warehouse operations is highly preferred.
