Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Bell Attendant to join our Guest Services team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming first impression and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival through departure.
The Bell Attendant assists guests with luggage, transportation, and general requests while providing attentive, courteous, and professional service throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Greet and escort guests to and from their rooms in a warm and professional manner
- Assist with luggage, packages, and storage
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest requests promptly, including transportation and reservations
- Maintain a friendly, attentive demeanor during all guest interactions
Transportation Duties
- Safely operate the hotel vehicle for scheduled runs and guest requests
- Coordinate transportation needs, including arranging taxis when necessary
Operational Support
- Deliver messages, packages, and perform errands both on and off property
- Assist with laundry and valet item pickup and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of guest service requests
- Ensure baggage storage areas are organized and secure
Safety & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old (insurance requirement)
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
Preferred
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items:
- Up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Up to 50 lbs frequently
- Up to 20 lbs constantly
