Job Description
- Review and evaluate Position Descriptions (PD) for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with Office of Personal Management (OPM) classification standards and Agency policy.
- Support classification actions, including drafting and reviewing PDs for new, revised, and reclassified positions.
- Advise hiring managers and program offices on position structure, grade levels, and series determinations in accordance with OPM classification standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of standardized position descriptions and position management documentation.
Job Requirements
- Provide skilled support for HR programs with minimal supervision.
- Position requires knowledge of Federal Human Resources (HR) terminology, operations, procedures, and requirements.
- Must be capable of completing high-quality work expeditiously.
- Minimum of Three (3) years of Federal HR experience, at least 2 of which must be specialized experience in the area in which work is to be performed.
- A college degree may be substituted for 1 year of non-specialized experience.
- Proven administrative skills and experience with HR automated systems.
- Min Education HS/GED.
