Cafe Eugenia is seeking an experienced, dependable, and positive Bakery Team Member to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and can consistently execute recipes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and operational side of baking and understands the importance of quality, consistency, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items according to established recipes and standards
- Follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Complete daily production lists and stay on task throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, and complete end-of-shift cleaning responsibilities
- Assist with inventory, labeling, and product rotation
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with managers and team members
- Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture
Qualifications
- Previous bakery, pastry, or professional kitchen experience required
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Weekend availability is required
