Security Officer Access Screener
As a Security Officer Access Screener in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a correctional location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or materials, and support a controlled environment through strong observation, communication, and professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a correctional location.

Screen visitors, staff, contractors, and/or personal property using assigned screening equipment and established post procedures to help support security-related operations.

Verify identification, maintain visitor entry records, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site policies and communication protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter zones as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
